Claudia's retrospective from the Vegan Beats Festival:
On 27 September, I represented ElasmOcean at the Vegan Beats Festival in Munich. Alongside our own information stand, where I presented our work and engaged in many stimulating discussions, I was also invited to give a lecture on marine conservation. For me, the real highlight was not the food stalls, but the exhibitors and the people behind them. Their commitment to animal welfare, the inspiring conversations, and the consistently positive energy made the festival truly special. It was motivating to see how much passion and dedication exists in this field – a genuine experience filled with exchange, ideas, and a constructive atmosphere.
It was particularly heartening to experience that animals are increasingly being given a voice through us – and that there are people dedicated to protecting them and their habitats, whether on land or in the ocean. The key is working together, regardless of our exact starting points. Because ultimately, what matters is our shared goal: protecting the planet of the future.
