In the Leverkusen City Library at the Rathaus-Galerie, visitors can do more than just read – they can also engage in crafting, puzzles, painting, riddles, and learning from 10 March (and continuing until 17 April) as part of the exhibition "Faszination Meer" ("Fascinating Ocean"). There is much to discover: shark jaws, fossil finds, shark egg cases (often termed "mermaid's purses"), and an extensive collection of plastic waste from around the world. The City Library is supplementing the ElasmOcean collection with its own selection of books and DVDs.
Admission is free during the opening hours of the City Library.
