In the Leverkusen City Library at the Rathaus-Galerie, visitors can do more than just read – crafting, jigsaw puzzles, painting, quizzes, and learning are also possible since 10 March (and continuing until 17 April) as part of the exhibition "Faszination Meer". There is much to be discovered: shark jaws, fossil finds, shark eggs (often referred to as "mermaid's purses") and an extensive collection of plastic waste from around the world. The City Library is complementing the ElasmOcean collection with its own selection of books and DVDs.

Admission is free during the opening hours of the City Library.
