"I would like to briefly announce some news. There is a new NGO, a new association, that goes online today under the name 'ElasmOcean'.
It sounds a bit difficult at first. ElasmOcean with a 'c', like the ocean.
This is run by friends of mine who are dedicated marine conservationists – precisely my area of interest – and I can only hope that they have great success.

It is indeed about marine conservation through education and information. Very few of us know what is actually happening in the seas and oceans right now, what is going on there – how we are plundering, exploiting and poisoning them. This is a group that wants to and will combat this efficiently.
