As her Marine Megafauna Foundation officially announced today, she has been in an intensive care unit for several weeks following a stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. According to reports from the foundation, she is no longer in critical danger. Her team is temporarily continuing her research in Mozambique and, like all of us, hopes for a full recovery, which will undoubtedly not happen quickly enough for Andrea in particular. We send you our hopes and wishes for a recovery, Andrea!
