On 6 September, we were once again guests at the Marine Conservation Day hosted by the Captain Paul Watson Foundation (CPWF), this time in Leipzig. Under bright sunshine, many children engaged in crafting and painting with our team, creating small, creative coral reefs to take home as keepsakes. Educational outreach was also a key focus: our team members Mandy, Michèlle, and Jens were fully occupied. Once again, it was a highly engaged audience that, alongside numerous scientific presentations, readings for the younger guests, and informative discussions, made the day precisely what it aimed to be: a premier marine conservation event.

We are already looking forward to next year and to further joint events in Ulm and potentially in Cologne. We will keep you updated.
