The preliminary round champions of the past ice hockey season have supported ElasmOcean as a cooperation partner since our foundation - probably the only professional sports club in the world that collaborates with an organisation dedicated to the protection of its heraldic animal.
With our redesigned club trailer positioned next to the stand, we welcomed the team and staff for the upcoming DEL ice hockey season in front of several thousand Haie fans at the Cologne MediaPark and conveyed our message to many interested visitors. Some fans return to the stand every year to purchase "fresh" marine animal toys or charity bracelets, while others discover us for the first time and are interested to learn that these "dangerous predators" (which naturally reflects the attitude of the club's mascot) are themselves highly endangered, and what can be done to protect them.
At this point, we would like to wish the KEC and the team an early "much success" and a minimum of injuries for what is bound to be an exciting 2026/27 season.
