This will be an evening journey into the depths of our oceans, exploring their beauty and fascination. Regrettably, it is also necessary to address the threats facing the oceans and their keystone species (e.g. sharks). What does effective marine conservation look like? What connection does marine conservation have with the Waldgasthaus Römer? What could potential solutions look like? All of these questions will be answered by Meik and Rike Obrock in a multimedia presentation. Entry is free; donations for the voluntary work of ElasmOcean e.V. are welcome - the proverbial hat will be passed around. Location: Waldgasthaus Römer, Düsseldorfer Str. 90, 51379 Leverkusen (https://what3words.com/brechen.angegeben.fisch) Note: the inn itself is only accessible on foot! Date: 27/08/2022 – start at 20:00. Duration: approx. 2 hours (including a break). The number of participants depends on the weather: in rainy weather, the event will take place indoors, where capacity is limited to 40 people. In sunny/dry weather, we will remain outdoors, allowing for a much larger capacity. Ticket reservation at: info@waldhaus-roemer.de or by telephone on: 02171-3959001 #MeerSchutzDurchWissen #SeaProtectionWithScience #WaldhausRoemer
