ElasmOcean has once again opened the doors of the Sharky Schwimmschule in Köln-Lövenich to our Marine Centre, providing several dozen children with a special day.

It was a highly successful event. The VR headsets, featuring a genuine dive in Mozambique, proved particularly popular. Prior to this, the children had acquired in-depth knowledge about the ocean — and the threats it faces — across several interactive learning stations.

This was followed by practical water-based activities: in the pool, our artificial shark, Haidemarie, awaited the young divers alongside our diving instructors Jörn, Kim and Olaf for an introductory diving session. It was noted that several children whom we recognised from the previous year returned for another session, indicating a high level of engagement and satisfaction.

An entirely successful event dedicated to the marine environment.
